Dope Status!!
As for "dirty air", the underside of the vehicle is one of the biggest contributors to overall drag. Having a diffuser that creates more drag isn't helping anything. I'm very aware of how diffusers work, and they can work well on a properly prepared car. This isn't the case here. It's just a bolt-on part to look like a pseudo-racecar without making any provisions to ensure that it actually works.
Oh, and if the car is lowered so much with a front lip and sideskirts, there isn't a lot of air coming from under the car anyway.
Actually, looking at the picture again, it's even worse that you would think. It's completely flat (no curves) so it doesn't actually do a proper job as a diffuser, and the only part that could actually contribute anything is the center section which is not even twice the width of a license plate. It's really just acting like a scoop though; the bumper needs to be cut so the diffuser can be raised up so it is level with the rest of the underfloor.
So yeah, I'm completely standing by what I said about fake aero.
