Already did my research doing 38/92 I believe. Many run the same one with after exhaust so I should have a problem.

 

92 seems kind of high. And every scooter is different, so that may need to be changed.

That is the same filter I have on right now, with a smaller intake tube, and it is running rich as hell rich now with a 93ish jet. Guy before me put it in, so I am not sure what is actually in there. Taking it apart and re-jetting it once I get my kit.

So i have been trying to find a GY6 swap anybody know a good place for them that arent way over priced?

 

It should be interesting. People dont usually say it is hard, just really time consuming since you have to take apart the carb every single time.

Pretty much like I said before, the only real way to get a cheap GY6 swap is going to be to find some one selling a cheap complete scooter. I found one in norfolk recently for 600, just have to wait, or dish out the money and buy everything separate.

 

craigslist is your friend, any chinese scooter. i'd rather just buy the kit off ruckstars. i think you should play around with the stock motor then bump up next winter.

 

yeah i have been all over craigslist look for one. Well i just want to get the GY6 to start building on the side that way when im done or feel its time for the swap i have it already done and ready to go. I found acouple sites that have the swaps at a pretty good price but i dont know which is a better one to go with the long or short case. I know im going to do a fatty kit and stretch it.
