I respect the ZJ platform! Seen some really nicely built ones on 31s do really well. With 5500 bucks, thats some room to buy, slight build, and still breath. LOL!

im actually looking at other cherokees as well.... found a couple online, garage kept, one owner, etc... for around there.

now lets talk lift people....

stock ZJ / XJ suspension.... best way to do a budget lift?

mild suspension lift
or just a coil spacer / shackle lift?
(again the purpose of this is going to be basically to daily drive, go to the obx beaches on the weekends, then possibly come play at shoe creek with you fags on occasion.)

so im thinking 31's on like a 3 inch lift would suffice

 

I could be wrong.. But I don't think there's really any 'budget' 3in lift for the ZJ. The most you can do for cheap is a 2in spacer. Otherwise if you go above your going to need to change out to some longer fixed arms, but if your going to do that anyways, why would you put fixed ones, might as well do a full long arm upgrade.. but if your going to do that.. why stay at 3 inches.. might as well do the big 5.5 or something.. LOL
