On Saturday, April 23rd, there will be a car show with test and tune (drag racing 1/8th mile) at Piedmont Dragway in Julian NC (near Greensboro/Burlington). Gates will open at 9am and the events are usually over by around 6pm or so. Admission is $15 per person, show fee is included in the price. After the show is over we plan to have a pretty nice size meet in Burlington as usual, so feel free to come and hang out.

There are probably going to be a few people that have been to one of these shows that are going to have something negative to say about it, please keep out if you are only going to try to ruin it for others. I have been attending these shows for several years and they are fun for the most part. Test and tune usually runs almost the entire length of the show which is where most of the enjoyment is.

I'm assuming it's a race while in the reverse gear. Which is a scary thought.

 

yeah its pretty stupid, to my knowledge no one has wrecked doing it yet though. beer run is kinda lame too.... but everything else for the most part is worth while. you guys should come and bring more people with you....
