Default d series questions, obd1 and obd2

just picked up a 99 dx coupe. has a d16z6 in it, but guy never wired in vtec nor did he have the right ecu or dizzy. i got the 0bd2b ecu out of a 2000 ex, picking up a y8 dizzy tomorow, and hopefully wiring in vtec. will this set up work or do i need to get jumper harnesses to make everything obd1 to match the z6 thats in it. please no bashing just trying to figure this out. guy before me had everything fucked up so now i just want to get it running right thanks in advance for any help that can be given.

kinda up to u at this point .either buy a obd2 dizzy to match ur ecu . or buy a obd1 ecu with jumper to make ur existin dizzy.. me i would match up to obd1.. cheaper easier less shit could go wrong. easier to tune.
