Don't do it, it draws way too much negative attention! Did it to my 94 and thought it looked sweet, but cops don't think so.

I'm in NOVA, so where you live may be different.

If it still has color, only peeling clearcoat, just leave it.

Also, it goes downhill pretty quick. For a couple months it looked pretty uniform, but then spots start to get shiny, others fade, and the whole time your car is like a giant chalkboard for picking up little marks.

If you can't fight the urge to paint it, make sure you do your prep work well (otherwise its not worth your time) and paint it with a real primer that you can eventually have painted over(the price is comparable). I highly recommend u-pol products.

I used rustoleum high performance enamel because I decided that it was never be a show car, and would probably wind up as a track toy. Pretty much the only nice thing is not worrying about you paint job and the ease of touch up.

Thanks to those of you actually tried to give decent advice.
^woahhhhhh bro. It's gonna be okay. FUCK NO, to the rattlecan. Take it to MAACO at the least.

Also, as a side note. I'm 20 and just finished boosting my second car. First one was a mustang, it blew up...I rebuilt it and sold it. This one is an LS on 6 psi and I am babying the fuck out of it and praying to god (or the lack there of) that it doesn't blow. Moral of the story is you gotta pay to play. If you don't have the paper for a MAACO paintjob then you probably don't have the paper for rings or rods. So do yourself a favor and either save up some more money and get it put on ~8psi tuned. Or don't boost. Isn't worth bumming a ride off your parents and friends. Trust me.

here's an idea, (not trying to sound like/be a dick by saying this) but do what YOU like. After all, you will be the one driving it, not anyone else on here. It's YOUR car, not these guys on the forums. Good luck OP

and point blank im not even trying to sound like a dick. just being real. it doesnt matter if its a frsh off the factory ls. that shit cannot take much boost stock. your 17? well its not an insult, but, no, you probably do not have much experiance with forced induction hondas, and yeah, it might be quick for a while, but unless you have deep pockets, at your age your going to find that life throws you a curveball when your not expecting it. turbo cars are terrible dd cars unless you have enough money on hand all the time to replace the ENTIRE setup. i have 2, and rotate between them, and i have spare FACTORTY turbo motors for both, on hand, ready to go. i also have 2 other cars on top of that. unless you have another ride, do not try to pretend for a second that a turbo honda will be a good dd. it will get ya in the end, ive seen it time and time again. This is not hate, just the cold hard truth of life. if you REALLY dont want to listen to the warnings, just buy a good backup ls. experiance says you wont regret it.

Listen kid, all these guys are 100% right who are saying to not turbo it. You should never ever ever do anything extreme to your DD unless you have deep pockets or another DD on standby. I am speaking from experience. Get the MAACO paint job (you do your own prep work, thats why its so cheap) and it'll be bangin for at least a couple years, then you'll be bangin the high school whores.

LOL. He's 17 and has a turbo kit. That shit is going on. Doesn't matter how much sense you guys make.

OP, either get a cheap maaco paint job as said before, or leave it alone. Primer NEVER looks good. EVER.
