the libertys arent bad man... do a coil spacer lift, some agressive 31's, surco roof rack and maybe a light bar and call it a day... remember, im going more for FUNCTION. im basing this off of what i NEED. and im going to have 3 100lb dogs in the back. and probably only use it for mild wheeling.... and mostly beach runs....
but i've also got to have manageable gas mileage for work trips, road trips, etc.... which i'll get about 20.

I've actually decided to go with a wrangler. My only concern was the space in the back
But I test drove one and determined that if I remove the backseat I should have enough room in the back for my dogs

An LJ Wrangler will give you a little more room then a TJ. If you are looking at those years.
Man i so agree with you what was Dodge and Cummins thinking with the 6.7
I'd like to dedicate this post to; "THINGS THAT DON'T WORK"
#1 - GeneralMotor's / Delphi Automotive's QuadraSteer system available on some trucks '02-'05

I was blessed to work on one of these rear ends (dana 60) the other day, simple job, replace axle seals.. turned into a 6.5 hour job. F$@K GM!!!!!
#2 - The Dodge Ram - specifically the diesel
'
Was blessed to work on one of these today for some extra mulah, needed some lower intake gaskets, $227.65 in parts and 6+ hours later, it was done. There's a reason why Dodge 86'ed their trucks.. that reason being the 6.7L Cummins.. God what a horrific engine.
p.s. - truck pictured dug its own grave upon landing, discarded most of the things bolted to it and is still sitting 6ft under out in the desert somewhere..

Had a crazy and exciting evening last night... I almost lost my house to a fire.... my next door neighbors 2 car garage went up in flames.... we sustained some damage to the side of our house but fortunately it wasn't any worse then what it was.... my house is the white house in the pics..
