Isnt exactly a DMV question but along the same lines.

I live on a side street, and every house has a drive way. Having 3 cars normally one car is parked on the street. Is there any laws as to how, where, etc to park on the street. I see other people do it, and I make sure the car isnt in the way for trash pick or anything along those lines.

Basically wondering because the jackass next door keeps parking in front of my house instead of his. Ive asked him numerous times, and he continues. Today I double parked him using 2 of my cars and he was pissed. I told him if he parked in front of his own house he wouldnt have this problem. Next I think Ill park all 3 cars in front of his house.

Thanks for the help in advance,
E.Honda

inspection and registration expired while deployed. must get car up to VA to get fixed.

1. will i be able to drive it up there
2. will i be facing any stupid fees for it expiring while i'm thousands of miles away, and it is in storage?

Yes, if you are out on deployment it will be dismissed if you get pulled over and issued a ticket. Just get it taken care of once you get back ASAP. Most of the time you will receive a warning from the cop if you are pulled, but some will issue a ticket regardless.

You will not have fees or anything for letting it expire.

You cannot be rejected twice. You get a rejection sticker issued, if you bring it back in for reinspection and the vehicle still fails, you have nothing on the windshield. A rejection sticker can be issued only once.

I just bought a car from MD with a MD title. The car has a salvage title because it has been hit in the front. I plan on fixing it then driving it. The car is now in VA. What do I need to do once I fix the car to get it back on the road again? Thanks for any help.

If the title is salvage from MD, it *should* transfer fine to VA without any further inspections. A salvage rebuilt (meaning you bought it as a rebuild and did it yourself) would require an inspection, but if it is already listed as salvage, it should be a simple transfer.

Mine says "rebuilt salvage". When you say I would need an inspection is this more than just the standard VA safety inspection? I want to make sure I will be able to drive it on the roads legally once I am done repairing it.
