yea, lots of rallys trips for my friends help with it. gonna stick with the 32s and run em down, get 33x12.5s at the most after that.

if i ever make it to tons, which would be when its not a DD and has no doors, hatch, interior, backseat or carpet. at that point, 36x12.5r16.5 goodyear humvees. if those arent available at the time, 37" version.
itd be awesome to stick the 7.3l powerstroke in there too, sadly i dont think itd fit. like at all, engine bay would be tiny.
but thats all a wetdream, and will most likely stay a wetdream.

Ahh, OK. Sounds good! And hey, i'm not hear to wake you from your happy place man (your wet dream). Dreams are cool, they help spawn some cool shit (builds some time). I know I had big dreams of bigger axles, tires, engine. . . then a friend passed along the best advice ever.... K.I.S.S (Keep It Simple Stupid) Seriously the best advice ever! I'm extremely happy with my build now, I stretched the pennies where I could and paid in full for the right things and couldn't be happier! Mine is super functional and I believe I'll be happy for a long time to come.

yea, simple is good. with whats in there, it can do mud and the beach perfect. but tons would be smart if i went into more crawling stuff. wayyyyy to many people have gone through parts on these ttb d35s when crawling. so more then likely itll only happen if i win some money for the 'just because i wanted to' factor lol
same with fitting a 7.3l diesel in there, only if i won $10000+ lol

i think SOA and 5.5" up front with 32/33, stock axles will be perfect for me on this truck. atleast 4.10 gears down the road, maybe 4.56. wont need a ladder to get in it either lol
i wanna get this thing done so bad!!

Hey fellas what shops in the VB area do you recommend? Need some Bilstein 5100's (shocks) installed in my Tacoma and an alignment. Thanks!

Believe me, I understand the feeling of wanting something done badly! (mine still isn't 100% yet) And yeah, swapping out the TTB is a good idea, it's eliminating a weak link, pretty easy (figuratively speaking) to do. While you're in there, might as well make the swap worth it also. You guys really should come over and wheel with us sometime! Maybe a Sat - Sun. thing. camping Sat night into Sunday so everything isn't rushed into one day...

Can't offer anything, I don't live in the area...

EDIT : You might want to PM 'nftuatn', he has a shop in Hampton I believe. I've heard nothing but good about his shop, work, and business. Hope that helps.

Well Freddy, sounds like you'll have some busy hands when all your shit get in! Sounds like it'll be a pretty cool build going on! What's the tire size you plan on running after all's said and done?
I'm running 35in SS Trxus right now. They just passed inspection yesterday but I like more tread then what I have. After talking to my buddy we are def. going to go get the 36in Iroks, then determine who gets what. I'll either get Iroks and wheels and he'll buy my wheels and tires (real cheap) or he'll take the Iroks and I'll take the wheels the Iroks come on, so that I can ride on my tires and buy tires for the extra set of wheels. He has to Jeeps. A wrangler and XJ an both need a new set of 35's. A lot of money....so one vehicle will be getting used tires and the other one a new set of tires.

We'll see when we go pick them up this evening. I'm leaning towards if I get a new set of tires the 35x12.50 Pitbull Rocker Radials.....few guys on Jeepforum swear by them and for $250/piece thats not bad.

You're welcome to come anytime.....I just sprayed a lot of brush killer and had the neighbor bush hog the banks because it's getting over grown from no one riding on it. Last time I rode on it was 4th of July. Two trees have fallen in the middle from a bad rain storm so I need to clear those first.
