I hear ya, that's what i'm doing now. I'm looking for a Decent Truck to tow with and possibly sell/ trade the little Samurai for a trailer. One way or the other it'll eventually work itself out.
Btw, those tires look pretty good on the Jeep man. Sucks that you got into your steering, but at least it was able to be fixed. So what's the plan on a upgrade, or you gonna wait till the tons are under it?

The fix was mountain ingenuity at it's best. Pulled tierod off, stuck is behind the tow hooks on my front bumper, ratchet strapped both ends down and then hooked the winch up on the bend. Bent back straight enough that when we got home my toe was only 1/8in off an no death wobble. I want to upgrade steering ASAP, even if it's something like rugged ridges steering. Anything is better then stock at this point.
I am def. going to start tearing the one ton axles apart and buying parts for them. I have this 03 TJ in the garage I was planning on building. Having title issues (long story) so I might sell everything for it and use that money to build the axles, then buy a truck when I'm ready to take mine off the road to build. Or if I get a title build the 03 TJ. I'm leaning towards selling the 03 but who knows. I bought it to have two Jeep, one for me and one for her. But even she said she'd rather have a truck because we would use it more and we want a boat or some type of water toy. Her, my boy and I love the water so much that I can see having a truck being more useful and then just having one Jeep to tow around and wheel.

Also anyone know anybody that wants to buy a used (less then 1000miles) Yukon 4.56 gear set for a LP TJ Dana 30 for $125firm. I have one for sell. I bought one off of jeepforum to put in my TJ but a buddy gave me a HP dana 30 out of a XJ I'll throw under my Jeep till I can upgrade. $125 is what I paid and the gearset has been on the work bench ever since I bought it.

Sounds like a pretty good truck to me! Also you sound like me... I come across something and hold out o see if something else comes along. Mostly ending up missing out on both deals. LOL That's my luck though.
Hey, I've seen and done some mountain ingenuity myself. lol! Ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. Sounds like ya did a good job to have gotten it within a 1/8".
At least you have some kinda fall back plan for the 03 if needs be, selling it and parts to build yours. I agree, any steering upgrade is better than stock when you get to building stuff. Especially with 36" Iroks lol!
