dude... le gf straight up told me in a fit of rage / tears that she HATED my motorcycles.

Background: I was working on the Goldwing waiting for her to come over so we could go out to eat. 5pm she shows up, I'm still working so I decide to get her involved (my fantasy <3) I have her hold a wrench, etc... Praise her for helping and say "I couldn't do it without you." We were done in 30mins.

Fast forward to that evening where she flips her shit, I turned it right back around and said "Well I'm only doing it FOR YOU." (lol using crazy girl logic)
"Babe I really just wanted something that we could do TOGETHER. I know you think I'm sexy on my motorcycle so I just wanted to make you a part of it. (I also bought her a helmet)"
Now she's totally fine with it, and she even helped me pull a brake caliper last night.

Woman + tools = WIN!

"you think I LIKE having a garage full of broken motorcycles? I'm here all the fucking time and you never come help me!! I just sit around sulking wondering when my girlfriend is going to have time to give me a hand!!! It took us 20 minutes to do the timing belt and timing together. It'd take me HOURS to do it by myself." and so on... I even managed to "cry" a little. (poked myself in the eye)

 

I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one that does stuff like this. Guilt = destroyed. .. mwaahahahah!

I actually reaaaally like that too. Cheap alternative for the time being I guess... found a numbers matching rusty ass frame and motor only on rapebay for 2 grand + shipping. I think the motor was the bottom end only too...

 

lol yea those black bombers can be almost as expensive as the BMW's
