Actually, with the restrictions removed, I would say it's faster than the Ruckus within logic. Same enigne, roughly the same weight but the Metro is more aerodynamic, less contact patch on the road with the stock Met running gear, the variator is already weighted better than the ruckus, I could go on.

BTW: Your first post has gotten you off to a bad start. This particular thread is a peaceful one so you are lucky. Don't go throwing your opinions around else where on this site. Might want to not throw them around in here either because there are site Vets watching this thread and they have no problem jumping your shit, finding your face/space/twit pics, and then reaming your corn-hole real good.

haha thanks. I've seen the hostality on other threads. It's a little funny when you're not the target. If what you say is true, then I may reconsider my thoughts because I've seen cheaper mets around than Ruckus'. Cheapest Ruckus I've seen so far used is 1800. It's just that I had a friend that bought a metro from some chick and it was pink and had girly flower vynil shit on it and his was slow as hell. So all his friends called it the "Metrofag" as a joke. No hard feelings though, of course.

I've actually debated with these guys about why "we" just don't buy a "Dolsol" (knock-off Ruckus) considering it already comes with a gy6 (QMB139).

It may not be the one that people like to swap, but the parts for a 50cc "gy6" are WAY less expensive, as common as herpes simplex (type 1), and if you blow it up/crash it... another can be had for a FRACTION of the cost of a used Met/Ruckus. Not to mention, just about every Chinese scoot has some form of this engine on it. (The Taiwanese vs Chinese debate is still up in the air).

FOOD FOR THOUGHTZ- If the China/Taiwan parts/scooters were shit, why are so many Rucki' "mutted" by adding chinese/tiawanese parts?
