Gotcha, Ultimate goal is to have it lighter than the E30 at it's race weight of 2700lbs.

 

Awesome... I crossed the scales at 3127 with me in the car and a little over 1/2 tank at impoud last time out. I'm around 237 so figure 245-250 with gear on. Car is around 2880 lbs currently. 2700 is what the Panoz weighs.

EDIT: Min comp weight for my class is 3118lbs... didn't expect to be that light post cage and fire system and cool-shirt etc.

 

Mine is right at 2700 without me in it....then with my fat ass its 2880.

 

I mean.. the car is still really like for the power band and why would it matter how they responded?? bc it is still super light and it's his build and you directed your comment about weighing it as it were to him.. there is no one else to direct that to.

If it's not 26XX shit is getting removed. Cage will be heavy as I don't play when it comes to safety but I still have all the sound deadening material in it and a couple things that could come out if need be.

But seriously you're reading something in that isn't there. I wasn't sure why he was scaling the car with so much crap off of it. Makes sense that he wanted a ballpark to start picking suspension bits.

 

Should have some more updates this weekend. Car is back at my house now and I still have a lot of work to do.

 

Got a couple things done this weekend. Relocated the abs pump and installed the Vorschlag headers.

Yea...bought these instead. I'm pleased they fit well.
