Honda Ruckus / Scooter Thread
I love riding scooters, and they certainly serve their purpose. . .I guess for me, it was a utilitarian thing. . .the amount of money dropped into these toys is just silly. Get a M class, annd get a real bike if you are going to be dropping that kinda scratch on two wheels.

To each their own, honestly. And in other places where scoots are every frickin where, and are a LOT cheaper to com by parts/service/custom janks, I can see it. . .but in the 757, I am just glad the cops don't fuck with y'all every time you set wheels on anything out f the neighborhood.
I like driving/riding the shit out of stuff that weighs next to nothing. It's why I own a Miata. If I could afford a Atom/Lotus/Caterham I'd daily the shit out of it, rain or shine.
See my sig.
I MAY get a bigger bike one day, but I can guarantee you it will be no bigger than a 250cc.

Heath I totally agree, one of the same reasons I have had nothing but Civics (along with being low cost).
I will own a Ariel Atem one day. A Caterham would be sick too.

If I get around to getting back on two wheels, 750 is gonna be as big as I wanna go. If I move back home to Bermuda, more than likely no bigger than a 350, and I am fine with that.
Now imagine if you will, a mode of transportation that was fun, economical, doesn't cost insurance/taxes/inspection and filled that customization urge ALL AT THE SAME TIME.
I personally have only invested $1200 in the scooter, roughly $925 in parts/shit, and I've done all the work myself. I'd never find a motorcycle "comparable" with my scooter for that price.
I see where your coming from though, but even if I bought a motorcycle for the money I've invested, I'd still have to pay insurance and what-not.
I plan on getting a bike soon though lol.
I loved $4 to fill and 89mpg, all day long.
