if you havent seen them, check out "Long Way Round" and "Long Way Down". Both are awesome adventure riding documentaries.
If you ride, join up at advrider and check out the hampton roads chatter section, bunch of us local riders.

noob rider lesson learned yesterday... shady areas are COLD!
went out wearing my mesh jacket with no liner and a t-shirt yesterday after work. as long as I was in the sun, I was fine. As soon as I hit shade, I was freezing.

Hahahahaha... I started riding by myself in November of 06 -07 (I'd have to go look at my drivers license). I can tell you, those were some really cold mornings to school.
