Insurance money from when the lady nailed my car in the work parking lot Christmas Eve. An clothes.. oh and a new DSLR and just bought myself a new HP touchpad
Buy the Contour. It had much better sound quality IMO when I used it at VIR last time. Cheaper too I think.
Hmm,interesting.I've never even heard of that before.Just did some research, and it is cheaper, and 1080p capable. If so,what resolution was that video?
Is this what you used to film the rear facing view of the video you posted with your spin from Grand?I was considering buying a Sony or Canon HD camcorderY(since it'll be used for family stuff too,and having an articulating display would be nice). You'd think a $500+ camcorder would have at least the same or better video quality, but from what I've seen the GoPro seems to look better than anything else I've seen.
Contour is good and has comparable qualities but IMO the GoPro was designed to be more versatile. Look at all of the different mounts and options for it, for instance...
Really I don't think you can go wrong with either. If you want to check the GoPro out in person before buying one, I'd be happy to let you use mine for a track day.
