I'm thinking I met the father, you met the son. Yes! His dad has a 69 Europa I believe. Has a rotary in it. The Lotus I did the windshield in was an Elise. He bought it as a salvage and rebuilt the front end. All together he said it was no more expensive than a new Accord, but he did all the labor. There is also another fd with sequential turbos. All my info is from about 5 years ago though. I have talked to Bob in the past two years. We were introduced by a father and son duo that built a FFR GTM-200 I had worked on.
yep i remember that exactly. really cool dude. he actually flagged me down cause he was interested in my old miata. it was funny cause he was so interested in my miata cause it was slammed and poke and what not but i was jawdropped that he had a rx-7. then he says, yeah its got an ls1 in it. and i almost shit my pants.

Also in regards to the sequential turbo the FD used, both turbines are the exact same size hence the term "twin" used with a sequential turbo.
Since I owned one I know all sorts of useless info about them.
