My New 2013 Mustang GT
Thanks!
When you get a tune, it shows the same thing as if you disconnect the battery. I haven't heard of any serious issues. Only issue I've heard of is cylinder #8 which was caused by basically one tuner (not going to list names) and some stock cars and there weren't that many issues in the grand scheme of things. Plus the engine has been slightly changed in 2013 so hopefully that issue won't happen.

Flimflam was saying that it was being done by creating the ghost idle...

You might want to dig a little deeper. When we bought my wife's 2012 5 liter we were all kinds of excited about I/H/E/ tune and then did a little research. Unless someone has figured out a trick, uploading a tune leaves a permanent fingerprint on the ECU, even if you revert to stock. It absolutely voids warrantee. Things may have changed, but as little as a few months ago, that was an absolute truth. I don't blame anybody wanting to uncork the motor a little, but if warrantee is a concern I wouldn't do it. For us.... well for my wife... She doesn't need any more than the stock 412hp to get groceries.
Car looks great though, I wish the Recaros would have been an option when we got ours.
Its amazing how much ford stepped up their game with the mustangs

It looks like a blast to drive it. I love how they turned around the mustangs which in turn made me start to like domestics alot more than the past.

It definitely is a huge blast to drive. Mustangs have advanced a ton in the past decade.
If you plan on racing alot, i tell ya spray goes a long way on these, my other friend has an 2011 5.0 with axle back, intake, tune, m/t e/t street and 125 wet shot and went 6.80's at farmington, now he has new tune and Circle D... but 6.8's on stock auto trans and motor is very impressive with a little nitrous shot
