I'm some what used to them from wearing helmet socks from karting and autocross but doing this daily will be interesting.

Still haven't picked out what cold weather gloves I want yet.

Lynchburg is the same. Got really chilly lately.

 

Well it's more a part out of the modifications. Coilovers, wheels, tails, door handles, mirrors, ZKWs, and pretty much anything not stock (I've got brand new M3 spindles if you need spares). I want to use it as a DD and the whole low offset, stretched tire, inch-off-the-ground thing isn't really conducive to that.

If you want to see it in person I'll be limping it to Roanoke to be fixed sometime in the near future. I already have a buyer for the coilovers so they'll be coming off and whatever broke will be getting fixed.

PS: looking at something Japanese and Correct Wheel Drive.

 

I bought something similar a few years ago when I still rode on the street.It was reversible- fleece on one side and kind of like polyester on the other- so you could vary how warm it was.That thing was a lifesaver!Before that,no matter how warm the rest of my gear was I'd always have a freezing,snotty face.With the head sock I was completely comfortable.Two or three winters ago I rode my bike to work almost every day,when the temps were sometimes below freezing,and never had a problem.
I still use it for riding dirtbikes when it's cold,and it helps a ton considering how open dirtbike helmets are.

That's sounds droolworthy. If I can get anywhere near that I'll have to look into it. Wheels and suspension alone could get me pretty close.
