The car is much more likely to have something fly up and hit it on track.
The majority of those guys tracking the high-end cars can afford to repaint a front bumper periodically anyway....Or they can also afford to just not care.

 

True, however I've never been to one of those open track days or whatever they have a VIR, I don't know enough about that nor have I see someone actually put a high end car to actual work except on YouTube.

I watched an Audi r8 wreck at VIR on YouTube, guy was pissed as fuck letting his buddy drive.
