Agreed. He had plenty of room on the sides of that oil. I honestly though his leg was broken when the camera panned over to it.

 

Two close calls and one "oh shit" this week.

I think I liked the traffic better when it was 25 degrees out.

 

My only scares have been from spotting the boys in blue...a little too late. There is or was a huge push for the beat cops to be out and about a week or two ago. Staties, sheriffs, unis---everyone was out. Unfortunately I have 6 stretches of 35mph on my way to work.

Swapped a bit-o-paint with an older Mercedes M Class this morning.

Slow speed, no damage. Just a scuff on the paint.

No, this was on 66 at morning rush hour. The guy slammed his brakes for some reason. I was following to close, technically my fault, but he was cool about it. We didn't even exchange numbers.

Scuffed the top of my front fender, luckily it was a SUV or it could've been more damage.

I'm actually more comfortable lane splitting in downtown DC than I am commuting on 66. I fucking hate that highway
