VERY soft and won't last on the street at all. I've ran w/ quite a few guys who use them and they worked pretty well in normal trail conditions. I've personally seen them dig into a hole in sloppy mud. (couple Jeeps, Land Rovers, a Samurai) I think for the cost, especially if you still drive on the road there are better options. If you're looking for that perfect tire to make your vehicle look bad ass and make you look baller... That's the tire for you.

Don't think its a bad tire from what I've seen. I just (imo) think there's better, cheaper choices out there.
What size are you looking at?

XJ right? Sorry, can't get on Driven from work comp and to lazy for searching at the moment.

I don't think you would be unhappy w/ them if you can stomach paying for them. Still, many cheaper / better out there for me. Only suggestions being for them is keep them off pavement as much as possible and stay out of deep, thick, clay like mud. Of course lockers will help them (dunno if you are already or plan to be locked) If so, I wouldn't recommend locking a low pinion D30 w/ that tire size and choice.

Have you considered the 34" LTB? Great tire and I just sold the second set I had just because I wanted to go bigger. I have not one bad comment about either set I was on. Many people hereby can vouch for what I did and put those tires through.

The tune up on my truck has evolved into a lot more work than than planned. The plan was plugs, wires, oil/ filter, fuel filer, PCV valve, rotor/ distributor cap, transfer case service, y-pipe gaskets and rear brake pads. Now I find that it needs a radiator, evidently it's been leaking for a while but has never showed any signs. Nothing on the ground and never runs hot. I found the hidden sign that never made it to the ground, and that would be the rusty radiator support that has seen WAY better days. I have the complete front end taken off the truck so I can replace whats needed and clean, prime, and paint the rest. I'm going to go ahead and replace the headlight trim ( the "chrome" has been bubble up for some time) and headlight housings so now is as good time as any I suppose. Front pads as well, which probably means front calipers because I want to flush the brake fluid and I doubt the bleeder screws turn without breaking off. LMC truck is going to love me...Since I'm ordering from them I'm going to replace the over flow/ washer fluid tank. I've tried cleaning it with zero luck.

A new truck is very appealing after today...

New truck is nice and all but knowing you worked on your truck and know the ins and outs of it is also self satisfying. Plus no payment.

I'll know the front end very well after this! I've ordered ever piece for the front clip down to a new emblem in the grill and every fastener. LMC truck loves me right now. All I lack is rear calipers from TSM manufacting ( made the conversion kit) and the radiator and hoses. Waiting on the radiator and hoses isn't hurting me, I de-greased it, and waiting on the primer to dry so I can put the finish coat on the radiator support and frame. It will be back on the road after the radiator job and bleeding the brakes.
