Sold the Evo and picked up something thats a little more livable as a daily driver. Doesn't handle nearly as well, but I'm going to fix that shortly with a set of Konis and springs.

I really like that man! i haven't always been a big trans am fan just because i always thought they looked like a 4th gen Camaro with a body kit. That color does it for me though

I can't say I approve of this swap.I never understood why people consider Evos to be such bad daily drivers in stock/near stock form.Obviously,any car can be made into a PITA with radical engine/suspension mods,but what is essentially a Lancer economy car with a higher performance drivetrain and firmer shocks and springs is hardly a racecar.A typically low build quality GM coupe with a V8 that has no better fuel mileage doesn't seem to be a step up in the daily driver category over the Evo.
That being said,at least it has a cool engine.When the car falls apart and is in a junkyard,hopefully it'll find it's way into a better chassis.

I've been dailying mine for two weeks now. It's not stock anymore, and it's just fine Hell I got 28mpg from it interstate, and 25 mixed the other day, that's records for an EVO hahaha

As far as these being bad build quality goes, nothing major really ever breaks on the manual cars. The automatic transmission is awful yes. Otherwise, they are very solid cars. There is a reason you see so many close to 200k miles with no mechanical issues on craigslist and the like.
This one only has 50k miles so it has a long life ahead of it still
