Cycle whore thread
Rain has been pretty sporadic up here, I still ride everyday though.
What lube are you using? I used to use DuPont Chainsaver, but switched to Pro Honda.
It has Moly and Teflon (PTFE) just like Chainsaver but it's cheaper. It doesn't attract much dirt and sticks to the chain even in the rain.

Using Yamalube On-Road chain lube (Oil based "white graphite"), RK Chain warranty card suggests cleaning/lubing every 400 miles or every time the bike is ridden in the rain.
Their off-road variant is the moly and teflon

They are probably basing that on the assumption that you are using oil to lube your chain. Oil disperses in rain, Teflon doesn't, it sticks. No rust, no dust.
I'm thinking of switching back to the DuPont spray though, the Moly in the Honda Lube is a bit stickier and attracts more crap.
What's in the Yamalube?

Not sure if repost, but holy shit.
What the hell, conked out drunk or what? how do you just glide into oncoming traffic like that?
A special blend of oil-based "White Graphite" that provides a high level of chain protection from Rust, Corrosion, Wash-Off, Dirt, and Grime, designed for use with conventional or o-ring chains, resistant to "Fly-Off".
