I'm confused as to why it needs an entire differential if the pinion gear is in need of replacing.. is there anything else funky with the rear end or is it just that?

 

My mistake there is nothin wrong with the differential everything works as it's supposed to as far as the diff. It just needs the ring gear and pinion really don't have the time to mess with it with my work schedule which is why I'm negotiable on the price

Yeah I was unsure as first I'm not very experienced when it comes to drivetrain stuff but when I had the rear wheel bearing as well as seals in the rear the mechanic stated that it needed a ring gear and pinion the truck is by no means perfect but the body and paint is great as well as the motor and the suspension the interior as well as the drivetrain could be switched up but it all depends on what your use for the truck would be
