From what I recall the engine was out of a C5R

 

My research says its a show car built by GM in 2003? Interesting thing for them to build. I'm assuming Katech produced the engine like the rest of the C5-R engines, but I'd doubt it has too much in common with the race builds except for the overall block architecture. Probably one of those "yeah, it's got a C5-R engine" when it's actually just based on the -R 7L block and heads but is a milder build.

 

I think that person got so caught up in "if I can", instead of wondering "If I should".
