Default 1991 Mazda Miata

Name: Phil
Location: Ashburn / Sterling
Means of contact: PM

Price: There are two options
- $3,500 with K1s
- $3,000 with stock wheels

Description:

Selling my 1991 Mazda Miata. Mileage is approximately 138k miles and may change as I do drive it occasionally. I purchased this vehicle approximately year ago to use as a cheap and fun car to drive to and from work and around town. I was hoping that the more time I spent in the car the more I'd want to like it, but I really just don't comfortably fit in the car. It was stored indoors from last October until May of this year, and I've been driving it ever so often since. It'll be going back into storage in the next few months if I don't sell it.

Options-
Equipped with all standard features plus "B" Package:
- Cruise Control (it works)
- Air Conditioning (it works)
- Power Windows (they work)

Work done since I've owned it-
- Radiator replaced
- Hella H4 conversion
- Fortune Auto 500 Coilovers
- Kosei K1s 15x8 +20
- shifter rebuild kit (I've installed the upper gaskets, have not done the interior bushings yet)
- Fenders have been lightly rolled to allow for the wheels and tires

The car spent the majority of its life in Texas. I have a folder full of service records and paperwork associated with the car that dates back quite a bit. There are good and bad things about being a Texas car, so first the upshots.

Upshots-
- I have not found any rust or rot
- Dash is crack free!
- Recent (8/16) Inspection
- Recent (7/15) Emissions

The not so great-
- The car was originally white and repainted similar to the dark NB blue some time ago by Maaco (oddly enough they kept the receipt). The paint is a 4-5 on a scale of 1-10. Its good enough for a daily driver / track car / etc, but it won't win any beauty contests. It looks good from a distance but you can see the fisheyes and runs in the paint when its up close. Recently there was a 2"x2" section on the driver fender where the paint just let go. The car probably could use another cheap respray or plasti dip'd.

- What I'm assuming is the factory soft top is in bad shape. The plastic window has discolored and cracked severely. I've had the hard top on 100% of the time I've owned it.

I am not interesting in parting the car out, so please do not ask. If the buyer of the vehicle does not want the hard top or wheels I can work on that front; I will not sell either the hard top or K1s before the car sells.

I'm sure I've forgotten some important information so if you have any questions please let me know.

Vehicle sold 'as is' with no warranties or guarantees expressed or implied. Cash sale, no trades.

That's a good deal for a decent shape hardtop car.

Yes, I still have the car. However now that the weather is starting to warm up I'll be driving it more frequently and will be less tempted to sell.

Bump...

My E30 needs a motor and it would be beneficial to let another car go, so....

Since the last post:

- Alignment done at All Aspects along with a new set of Azenis all around
- soft top and frame removed, still included with car if so desired

I have dropped the price of the vehicle with stock wheels to $3,000, but the price with the K1s remains the same. Frankly I'd like to keep the K1s for my E30, but if so desired I will sell them with the car.
