id still say 600 whp is pretty good on stock bottom end with hypereutectic pistons lol, since they are "brittle", as long as its tuned well they should be ok(until the lands crack haha), but then the rods fail i guess :/

that looked like a newer one but im blind when it comes to mustangs lol!

it was a newer one...99 or 01. when you surpass the 450 mark, the pistons (if they somehow hold) dont go, itll be a rod. plus, rpm kills rods quickly. and what do the 4valves love? rpm. so he probably spun that thing to like 7500 or so to make 600 hp and that just asking to ventilate the block. hell, id be nervous with the power im making if i had a stock shortblock.

yea i noticed that on matts car, unlike most dyno graphs of just about any car, his never peaked and dropped, instead it made its max power at the rev limiter haha!

sounds like the rev limiter is a little low! or they couldnt afford to upgrade the valvetrain..

nah, a lot of people make a shitload of power with the stock valvetrain and cams. its the rods and pistons that need upgrading with the cobras. their cranks are steel and kick ass.

i know im sayin it seems like the cams have a little more capable rev range than they are allowed..

Anyone want an air to liquid setup? I'm selling a complete setup I put together that I was going to use on my 240 but realized an air to air is plenty for me (after spending all this money like a moron I decided this).

Anyway, it's a PWR unit and has the fuel cell water resevoir, water pump, radiator, hoses, everything you need. THose PWR intercoolers alone, none of the other stuff sell for $500 on ebay...
