That's not funny. I do wear glasses. :P heh. I've only been to NB once, so it's not like I remember much about the place.

I dont see how a 2g gst with all YOUR mods can only do 13 somethin. damn, buy a gsx and just switch all the crap and call it a finished project. I dont think theres a damn thing left in your engine bay thats OEM, besides misc crap like a P/S Pump.

my whole head is stock minus the cams. and it might have ran a 13, try breaking into the 12s on a fwd dsm with h rated tires. i trapped 116 on low boost, i would say thats pretty good. and when i ran then i had a lot more things stock then i do right now. just an fyi, but i don't build the car or race it for other people, but next time its at the track it should turn a high 11 at 125

i got my revised lifters free 50 bucks is a damn steal, but i still got you beat
well lets see, i ran it down the track 2 times, the first being the 9.7 and the second the 9.37, only time i have ever driven the car.. greg ran the rest..

i dont care if you believe it or not ha..

I was tuning my car summore tonight, this time the air part of DSMLink and omfg. After tuning, and re-hooking up my bov to recirc, and adjusting the throttle cable and TPS, my car runs at a almost perfectly steady 750rpm, no more than 780rpm and no less than 740rpm! + my LTFT Lo is -.5%! Unfortunately I cannot log my car while runnin right now cuz the laptop batt is a pos and wont charge, but I went ahead and did a run anyways, keeping an eye on my a/f guage. OMFG my car hauled ass like it's never hauled before. My throttle finally opens up 100% too! It use to open up only like 80%. I'm supposing when garan and I went to the track, it never opened 100% there either. Heres the post I posted on DSMLink I had a few questions to ask u tuners

Ok I'm usin a shabby laptop to do these logs and I cant transfer them off of it just yet so I'm just gonna type out the averages of what I logged

I changed the 50hz slider to 38, got very little dif with the LTFT Lo. It stayed around -10%. I slid it down to 26 and it stayed right at -.5%

------------------------------------------

Heres my questions and guessed answers for them:

Q. Is 26 at 50hz too low?
A. I'm thinking since the LTFT Lo is -.5% its perfectly fine.

Q. How would I be able to tell which hz slider should I adjust?
A. By cruising at a certain RPM and using the "MAF" to tell which hz it's at?

Q. What would I tune the air table sliders to?
A. Whatever keeps the LTFT Mid closest to 0%?

Are these educated guesses correct?

--------------------------------------------

Heres the rest of the stats I logged

MAF - 33hz
A/F Ratio - 15.8:1
RPM - 750rpm right on the dot for the first time ever since I've owned this thing

AirFlow - 3.3gm/sec
Intake Temp - 66F
Coolant Temp - 216F
RawThrottlePos - 35
ThrottlePos - 1%
TPSVolt - .69

*note* I did gradualy slide the 50hz slider down slowly from 38 to 35, 30, 28, 25, 27, then 26. I waited 3 minutes between each change. I also hooked up my recirc pipe for my bov too before I even turned my car on tonight.

Thanks again guys!

P.S. WOW I just did a run and OMFG it was insane. I havn't felt my car go that fast ever. Only thing I didn't like was how my A/F guage on my Apexi TT showed my A/F going down to 10.2 at WOT. I guess I have to increase the sliders on my fuel chart. I need to get a darn battery for this laptop asap.

It's awsome. Now I'm caught between either a) Injectors and pump and fpr, or b) FMIC.

Thinkin of goin with those PTE 880cc ebay injectors for 290$ and 110$ 255 pump, and around 190$ for a fpr

or just goin w/ a 950$ (total) Hahn Racecraft FMIC

Why are you adjusting the airflow sliders? you're still on the stock MAS with stock honeycombs, so there shouldnt need to be any reason to adjust them. Being that you're on a stock MAS with stock injectors and fuel setup there isnt any reason to touch global/deadtime, or to adjust any airflow sliders. Go with fueling over the FMIC. Personally you'd gain more power initially with the FMIC, but having the fueling along with dsmlink will pretty much make sure that any single mod you do from here out would be more than covered. Your stock injectors and pump however would quickly run out of steam in the future modding process otherwise. Now you'll be sure to suck every ounce of extra power out of the car. Try playing with boost and timing if you wanna gain any power. Id definately hope that the car would hold a 750rpm idle btw.

In the RPM dialog box I had it set for 750 but it use to idle around 1k until i recirced my bov and lowered the 50hz airflow down to 26 and yes its a hacked maf w/ only the center honeycomb, im bout to go out and adjust the rest of the sliders so my LTFT Mid is closest to 0%

+ hey will you guys answer my questions I posted in the DSMLink forums, if you can? :-\ + my questions about the timing, its all under the engine management.

Slowly but SURELY, I am learning!
