Suspects waive hearing in James City burglary case

James City - Five more suspects in an August heist at a James City County time-share resort waived their preliminary hearings Thursday, sending their cases before a grand jury next month.
Eighteen plasma and LCD televisions were stolen from six unoccupied suites at the Powhatan Plantation resort off of Ironbound Road between 6 p.m. Aug. 7, and 8 a.m. Aug. 8, police said. The televisions, which range from 27-inch to 42-inch flat-screen models, have a total value of between $20,000 and $30,000.
On Thursday, prosecutors dismissed six counts of breaking and entering and five counts of grand larceny against 20-year-old Yolanda Fauntleroy of Hampton. Fauntleroy waived her preliminary hearing on one remaining grand larceny charge.
Kenneth Wright Jr. and Khristopher Wright, 22-year-old twins, waived their hearing on six counts of breaking and entering and six counts of grand larceny in connection with the thefts.
Kevin Jackson, 23, charged with six counts of grand larceny, and Nikitta Booker, 18, charged with one count of breaking and entering and one count of grand larceny, also waived their hearings.
The Wrights, Jackson and Booker are all from Newport News.
Their cases will go before a Williamsburg-James City County grand jury Nov. 21.
The waivers leave Demetrius Ammons as the only suspect in the case yet to have a preliminary hearing on breaking and entering and grand larceny charges. Ammons, who worked at the resort, was described by investigators as the ringleader of the operation.
Thaddous Kelly, Rontrais Parker, Ashley Oblein and Andre Reid, each indicted last month on six counts of grand larceny and six counts of breaking and entering, are set to appear in Circuit Court Nov. 15. Jimmy Jurado, indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit larceny, has a Nov. 9 court date.

an informant told me.....mark has integra (a guy not mentioned yet)... and thadd kellz goes to norfolk state has a del sol with gold rims indash tv...dre is selling hasport mounts and a vafcII and a new number for them is 2434590
