I admit I was an ass but what do you expect me to do CC has been nothing but strait excellent to me and my car and I will not let someone just start talking a bunch shit about them with no proof that they ever even did the work. Again I tried saying this earlier. If CCdid the work a gaurentee it was either miss communication or lack of fundsto ahve the work done properly. I we all believed one sided stories about shops theywould all beout of business. ie: all the stories about vertex stealing wheels obviously not true but one person said it and it spread. Talking crap about someones business is not a joke like talking about someones car s unlss you have some real proof its best not to open your mouth.
the bill will speak for itself dick. then you will see that cci really did do this work. why would someone on dragva just start running their mouth about a company unless it was true. every company has customers that like them and dont like them. thats life. this guy doesnt like them, and you SWEAT them. end it there dick! late

Motor was sitting in the shop 2.0 L before parts ordered.

So yes I understand all about fabrication etc.... BUT!!!!!!!!!!!

To fab these parts that were order for a different motor and charge someone for your mistake...I think NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There F@#$# up not the kids.
My question is why did he pay the bill once he saw he was being screwed? Do you know how long it takes to remove a cam gear and put another on with an impact gun or install a set of cams? I can put on 100 sets of cam gears in the time that he's charging for. I could see if the motor was in the car and he had to pull the timing belt off, etc., but with the motor sitting on the ground??? Come on...they should be ashamed of themselves for pulling this kind of stunt.

EDIt: Oh shit, I just noticed, they charged the kid 4.5% tax on the SHIPPING charge!!! Not only that, you are supposed to only charge tax on materials, not labor.

WOW, I read all 7 pages and this CCI company sounds like a place full of worthless bastards. A grand for a header? This is on a 4 cyl. motor right? Which means 4 primaries. The owner really got ass raped on this one, he should have done more homework or maybe did it himself with a few buddies and a cherry picker. As for Smut Peddler, you are a dumbass for thinking those prices are ok. This is clearly a matter for the better business bureau.

Here are a few pictures of work that Chris Reid has performed on me and a few of my friends cars. As you can see, the work is nothing short of excellent. Pictures speak one thousand words. Look at the welding/wiring.

Sr20det in 200 sx

Look at the weld.

(I cut the bumper, couldn't get intercooler to fit, and the bottom row was smashed up. The previouis owner of the intercooler had the end tanks capped- but chris redid the end tanks and made them flush with the bottom row. In other words He remanufactured the intercooler and it works great.)

Here are the brackets he fabbed for me

The pictures don't lie....the cars run excellent
