1234567: Do you ever work on your car or do you just take it to a shop to get the work done? A 4 year old retarded blind kid could have taken those pics and it would still make CCI look bad. It's not like he went out of his way to make the car look bad, it already looked like shit. Bottom line is that is some shitty work. In this day in age, I'm skeptical of every shop I don't know about and this just reinforces my skepticism.

 

yeah you guys are such experts i dunno y you even bother buliding hondas i mean your such experts at everything i dunno why you dont just design your own supercar and build it in your backyard. I mean you guys seem to know everything. As some who is probably MUCH older than you I can tell you that when things are obvious it won't take an expert witness or someone else to coborate in order for people to believe.

When you see an apple you say it's an apple. No one needs a botanists or an agricultural scientist to figure it out.

I see pics of a fucked up car and a jacked up bill, what about the other side do I really need to know? If you are maintaining that the work that they performed was excellent and the bill was fair then you really need to sit down and have a reality check...it's fucked up...PERIOD.

That is regardless of what ever kind of work they may have performed in the past, present or future.

 

yes taht car may not be a very good swap but if you had read the last 9 pages you would know taht taht is not what i'm exactly trying to say. Wat i said was there are many reasons tht the install could have been fucked up. As I staed earlier the owner of the ar ordeed he motor before hand. And sinceknowone heere has taled to cci about the problem no one knows exactly what hapened as i said earlier those mounts may not have been availible and may still not be availible for any number of reasns. The bill is not some kind of insanit like you people think it is. Puting cams andcam gears on is no easy task when it is done the correct way. I will also say this again no on is yet to prove anythng is wrong with taht car other than cosmetics. Oh yeah and as for the smart ass who made the remark about th one bolt motor mounts whydont you take a look at a honda, nissan or toyota if you can count you'll understand. Tec as someone who hs had there car woked on at pretty much all the major shops around i can tell you CCI is the best.

Did you see the pics of that sr20 in the 200sx it looks perfect. So saying that Chris doesn't know what he is doing is bullshit and that pic proves it. the swap he did for me into my mustang looks better then the stock motor ever did. I will try to see if i can find someone with a digital camera to post pics.

I think I understood what you are saying even though the typing was rougher than that swap.

I've done several swaps of different degrees of toughness. I normally do all my own work with the exception of welding because I just don't have the time to learn. I can pretty much look at any job and tell within a few min. if it's close or hammered shit. In this case it wasn't a tough call.

If CCI took on this task then they should have been 100% sure that they could do the job with the product on hand or just decline the job outright. In a business like theirs, every product you put out places your reputation on the line, as someone said earlier your only as good as your last job.

As much as you have tried to defend them your standing on nothing but quicksand. They screwed the pooch and screwed him out of major money. They should have backed out if there were problems and kept their reputation in tact if they weren't capable of producing an excellent functioning and LOOKING product.

The only thing I fault the owner of the car with is that he paid money for that fucked up install and then bitched about it later. He should have said something immediately.

 

The only level headed one a CC is Justin with the turbo hatch, him and his brother did the coilovers on my car there, he knows what hes doing, if you ever go there ask for Justin...
