Random question, do you go to JMU or live really close to the campus?

Thanks a lot man, right now the cf hood is off because im putting in a vent unfortunately, cause im gonna have some trouble keeping coolant temps down at Summit. Also hood pins and the front end is gonna get some aligning done.

I go to JMU currently.

Are you talking about the carbon trix center vent? Let me know if you do that cause I've been considering it seeing as I have a 1/2 foot crack in the middle of my hood now. I'd like to see pics. I was going to mount it to where it was right above the gap between the radiator and the manifold, so any rain would fall between.

Thought it looked familiar. Last time I was up there to see my girl, I saw you getting gas at sheetz. I like your plates.

I'm going to check the pcv, or maybe invest in a more effecient valve cover breathing system. I am keeping a fire extinguisher in there just in case haha.
My power cord broke on my laptop so I havent been on myself in about 2 weeks, so I didnt even notice. Good to hear, how many miles are on it? What ring gaps did you go with? Any more specifics on the internals?

Yeah I am going with the carbon trix vent. Right above the manifold/radiator, ill be running a heat shield so it isnt as big a deal, but I am also thinking of creating a plug for the thing so when it rains or snows I dont have problems. There really isnt any space inbetween as im running a 2-inch thick aluminum radiator, stock fan and a evo gt manifold with the thicker flanges, literally the fan almost touches the turbo already.

Thanks for the compliments guys, and if anyone knows a good body shop in Harrisonburg that also deals with carbon fiber, or just aligning of body parts let me know.

Remember when I was discussing purchasing the two stroker combo's that were for sale online? I ended up going with a guy on the dsmlink forums that lived in Florida. It was built locally using Eagle/ Venolia Pistons. He said it had a very low compression piston that was custom made, around 7.1:1 ratio and his goals were high boost and nitrous w/ race gas with it. It had just break in miles and I'm unsure of the ring gaps. The compression ratio seems lower cause I'm able to run alot more boost and timing than before. What started as a good deal ended up running an extra 1200 or more after I had to buy a new clutch and other misc items.
