Don't listen to the retards on this site or you'll end up with a peice of shit. Test drive, test drive, test drive I can't stress that enough. Love at first sight does not exist with cars unless its a ferrari, lambo, porsche or lotus. Since none of these are in your price range DONT TEST DRIVE THEM or I promise you you would sell your anal virginity to get your hands on one (some dealerships take that as trade in). Just shop around, test drive the cars you think you want, and go from there. BTW the two cars you mentioned are decent but there are better options in your price range. I'll just throw another car in for you thats in your price range and is very reliable and fun to drive is an acura integra type-r (I hate hondas and therefore acuras but this is a respectable car).
And dont worry, i dont really pay much attention to most people on this site...because all they do is say something stupid and try to cut each other down...and my philosophy has always been that fighting online is straight up retarded. So they can say what they want. I just wanted advice, and maybe some personal input...but saying "youre dumb as fuck...buy a civic!" yeah...i dont spend much time reading those posts.

I know what torque is by the way...the part of that post i didnt understand was "coming from an sr20det 240 to a s2000 you'll be happy." that didnt make sense to me...so chill out man.

And what i got from what he said was the S2K has less torque, and is slower, but it's faster at the same time. It handles/feels better, a lot better. Therefore you'll be happier. I've never drove one, but i know that the S2k is easier to drive harder, and yes, it lacks of torque, but it'll connect you to the road better than ANY 240.

Have you considered a 350Z? That's the next best thing I would get that is currently out. Of course I might be a bit bias since I like RWD Nissans, but the chassis is awesome and has quite the potential.

I would love a 350, but i cant afford them...And I am a very undecisive person...haha. Actually, I just havent had time to test drive things...and i always get different opinions...so i gotta go drive some stuff first. I cant buy anything until i sell my car, because i need the money for a downpayment...so you guys wont really hear what i decide till december most likely...but i think i am leaning towards a S2000.
