nitrous on a mustang?

There's always a limit on how much you can do with just a motor and forced induction.. which, with a motor like that, you can do plenty and make a ridiculous amount of power.. but lets say you put every single thing you could put into that motor and it's making 1500 horsepower, hypothetically. You want 1700 horsepower. You want to run 6's instead of 7's.. Whatever the case is, you want to go faster, and you want to make more power. Is nitrous cheating?
You're entitled to your opinion. I can respect your opinion but I stand by the fact that I think it's ignorant

Do you have a heater for the bottle? Also a pressure gauge. These two are a must when spraying. If youre not around 900+ psi then dont wast the time spraying. That can cause the bogging you are experiencing. Also make sure he put in some colder plugs, 1 to 2 heat ranges should be sufficient and try a gap of around .035.

nitrous is forced induction.
it is much more efficient than a supercharger. a supercharger takes horsepower to make horsepower. it is safer than a supercharger also. if you think nitrous is a "cop-out" you really don't know shit about going fast in a straight line.

Well said! For some reason I didn't clarify that nitrous was a form of forced induction, but thank you for saying it more clearly than I did.
If its a wet kit then the reason its prolly bogging down real bad is that the fuel is coming through but the nitrous is not getting through.unhook the line and check out right where it goes into the soleniod and check it out there and also look at the soleniod itself to see if anything is trapped on the screen.
I dont see nitrous as a way of cheating at all. I did it myself b/c doing a turbo on my car would have ended up running me a good 5k for getting a manifold and dp made, all the IC piping made and just about every other thing fabricated. so instead i spent 1k and got juice, remote opener, heater, purge and a gauge and now i am able to surprise alot of ppl on the street just by giving them a good run since no one ever expects a corolla to be able to move at all.

remove the nozzles from the intake, throttle body or whatever they are plumbed into, arm the system and manually activate the wide open throttle switch. if it is a wet system, fuel and nitrous should come out. go from there...
also how much is plenty in the bottle? what psi? what temperature? do you have an in-line filter? is it clean?
