recieved my 89 4 puck unsprung clutch kit and installed it yesterday. Love it completely streetable, has tad bit of chatter when engaging and grabs like hell! NO problems on stock motor! But wont be stock for long. Icing on the cake starter took a shit right after i got back from test drive.

You have a stock car. You don't have the traction to slip a 6 puck, and the totally on-or-off engagement is normal. It's hard to slip a 6 puck with a cable actuated honda setup, there is too much flex in the system to make modulation easy with that much friction. You've got a stock engine, get a stage 1 or 2 organic setup, you'l be much happier and it will still be able to handle tons more power than you have.

By the way, what type of 6 puck is it? Organic, kevlar, copper, etc....?

ugghh something was wrong with the setup it is obvious considering im now driving on a 4 puck unsprung and it acts the same as a full face with a little chatter. Everyone that runs the six puck i originally got loves it and never experienced the problem i had! I think it has something to do with the size of the 90-91 flywheel and clutch disk.
