this thread is fucking stupid were you really born to this world without common sense? have you not read the threads about STOCK SRT-4's getting pulled for STOCK exhausts?... yes you are going to get pulled, get some fucking straight pipe run to the back and cut-out if you really think you need to be super cool/loud and annoy the world... besides you might not get pulled I doubt you will make it half-way down the driveway before it breaks again

just make an exhaust for it, with a quiet muffler. Or get meinekie (spell?) to make one up for you.


It will save you alot of trouble in the end.

having something that looks like a muffler at the rear of the car does wonders to a cop who is looking at you...even if it isnt attached.

 

that is actually very good advice, most cops don't pull you over for making alot of noise, but for if you have a shiny rather large canister pointing at them it's def the end of the world, but what you are talking will be CRAZY loud and I doubt even that will help

... ask yourself this, why can't you get 3" straight pipe to one resonator to a muffler to a stock looking tip? you might sacrifice 5whp?

 

Only domestics are allowed to have loud exhausts...Some people still haven't figured it out

 

Shrug, I run an external wastegate dumped to atmosphere, external bov and catless/resonatorless exhaust. Might not have some crazy high rpm line, but I've only gotten 1 exhaust ticket in 2 years, and it was while cruising at 1800 rpm's on the highway(664, NN side), go figure. Course, I won't drive my car to the beach, and try to stay in Norfolk :P

 

my bro in law has a mild sp w/ header and 3 inch strait pipe to muffler and its loud....no tickets yet

why the hell u wanna run open dp....+ yer runnin a turbo that will quite it down considerably (na 3inch rotarys are louder than turbo's)

 

i say straight pipes...but muffler shops around here dont do illegal exahust do they?

You must not know too much about rotaries...

...a lot of their power is made by an extremely large, well-flowing exhaust system. Do your research.

The reason why I wanted to make this thread was to hear all the negativity possible because I know that this is going to be insanely loud... and maybe get some advice on something I didn't think about.
