There is said kit, but as others said the original poster doesn't want that. He has read online that the system is fragile and doesn't like the conversions.

Ya freeze 12 is your best bet. They sell freeze 12 retro fit kits and i've put them on a couple cars this summer just to get some ac going, but it worked pretty well. Hell even r134a is about 10 bux a can now.

I know there is something out there that used car salesmen use , but can't for the life of me remember what it's called . It lubes and cleans the system as well as cools nicely , but I dont think it last very long . It wasn't Freeze12 .... it had a letter designation . Ask any crooked used car salesperson .

Freez 12 requires a locence too now. If your buying it and not getting asked for your license number, that store can get in alot of shit.
