this is what i thought.... but i've also heard that several were made, but recalled and destroyed because of massive safety defects?

i've also heard that chevrolet was unable to recover about half a dozen of them, possibly due to being taken out of the country.
any truth to this?
My dad has an '89 Vert with a converted rearend to the 92 (I believe) bodystyle where the lights look square with rounded edges. He also bought my Z06 wheels for it. I think it looks good. It's not the Cross-Fire injection, but it is an L98 with the crap 4+3 tranny that he and I both hate. The car was quicker from stoplight to stoplight than my TA (atleast it felt that way), but it runs out of steam quick.

the 4+3 is a pretty rare tranny. still junk though.
