I like to keep my bike on two wheels. Thats why i have never dropped either one of my bikes ever I dont think your bike would beat me on a straight line, and im dumb enough to go crazy on snake or some other dumb public road with rocks and sand and cars on it

point is though, that all the 600's are about the same. sucks kawi had to put out 636 to compete with all the other 600's, because the zx6rr couldnt hang with the other 600's in stock form. and thats exactly what the 636 does, it compares to other 600cc bikes..
and lets go paul, im interested to run you. i dont think you could hang honestly.

I disagree, but I have a completely different perspective as a Kawasaki nut rider. I absolutely have a ton of respect for the other bikes and manufacturers, but I think Kawasaki makes a GREAT bike! When I was a kid I had Kawasaki Ninja toys and I played with them ALL the time. My eyes would light up when I was riding in the car with my family and I'd see a motorcycle out. Now I'm all grown up, and I'm the one sitting at the red light on my Kawasaki and I'm that kids biggest hero at that very moment, and that kid wants to be me one day.... Just like I was when I was a kid, you know?
Anyway, it's something I've wanted since I was a kid. When I finally got my first ZX6R I knew I would never want to ride anything else other than a Kawasaki. I think they're great bikes! And by the fact that the 636 is in the same category and in competition with other 600's, I think that is what I would call a smart business move. They saw an opportunity and they took it. Just like going from the ZX12R to a ZX14R completely bypassing Suzuki's 1300cc Hayabusa. Motorcycle enthusiasts are some of the most competitive people in the world sometimes, so of course it's a smart move to try and always be ahead of the competition in some way or another. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the Suzuki's, Honda's, or Yahama's in my eyes... but I plan to stay loyal to Kawasaki unless I find a REALLY good reason to switch. I'm sticking with what I know, and what I'm happy with.
All I'm saying is that I don't think they have to make bigger bikes to be competitive. That's my opinion.
