Re: sr20 trouble
You can do a physical test of your tps. Just look for cracks, make sure the spring action is working. Use rubbing alcohol and Q-tip to clean the maf. Also you can clean the contacts of the tps. both my tps and maf were dirty. check Ecu for codes. Try starting the car with tps wire disconnected. The ecu will go into default starting mode. It should run techinically fine however you won't rev past 2k.
Try those.
Important note. 240 ecu will try at all costs to run the motor barely enough to keep it from exploding or detonating. So you can do various tests to see what's going on. Always remember to reset ecu if you disconnect any electronical device with battery connected.

Re: sr20 trouble
easy way to check TPS. 0.5 volts closed, ~4.5 volts WOT. instead of buying a new one, just check it with a mulimeter.
i dont think that the TPS is your problem though.

Re: sr20 trouble
The TPS will usually cause either high or low idle depending where its set. With a sticky IACV most of the time your idle will jump around. A bad MAF will not rev past 3500. Most of the time you can get away with cleaning the IACV instead of buying a new unit.

Re: sr20 trouble
If you have a stock BOV venting to atmosphere yes it is VERY possible. The stock BOV opens at idle. That would be a huge vacuum leak. The stock unit is meant to be re-plumbed back into the intake behind the MAF.
