Damn, I figured you guys in populated areas would have it better. My rinkydink cable company here has awesome speeds, almost no outages, and great service.

Unfortunately it's $50/month.

Just keep Cox as a last resort. They have these little "shortages" every like month, and it comes unexpectedly and sometimes lasts like a whole day.

Well, I have Comcast and my service has been pretty rocky for the last 3 monts. Numerous phone call, 3-4 techs, and it's still not fixed. I've had missed appointments and calls and Comcast doesn't seem like they want to do anything about it.

ive never had much of a problem with cox for the last 2 years. i can count i think 2 outages ever, which lasted for a few hours, and occasionally itll slow down somehwat.

I've used both Comcast and Cox. Personally I like Comcast a lot better. Techs are all iffy no matter who you go with. It took me about five techs with Comcast until I got one who had a clue. He fixed my entire home cable system and it works very nice now.

Agreed, like 4 outages in 2 years. I really can't complain. usually lasting 30 minutes if not shorter.
