the injectors were kind of corroded when I took them off, looks like some oil build-up. wiped it with a washcloth. no smoke comes out of the tailpipe. I don't think i miss matched the plugs though 'coz there's no way they could've reach... i didn't use any other injectors with it, took one off monday to show the dealership what part i need then put it back on friday, that's when this thing happened. I haven't tried if all injectors sprays or not, guess I'll try that on monday since i left the car on my workspace.... 'bout the injectors being dry, if ever they did dry out, can't you just try if it sprays that way it'll be soaked with fuel again, or is it pretty much it for the injectors after it dries out???

wait a sec-if you had a fuel leak (from your shitty rings) and weren't having full combustion and it was quiet, but now you have good combustion (no fuel leak) and its loud I would say check your exhaust.

i did check the exhaust, no leaks.... right now after i replaced the rings, the car feels like its not getting enough fuel. it feels like its not getting any power... it just feels different! i guess i'll try to get different injectors and try that....

other than pulling one out, I would start the car, stop it. then check to see if you smell fuel in the piston (remove the injector or spark plug).

or pull the injector out, deal with the loud noise, and see if it sprays out gas.

just to be on the safe side, do some research and found out for sure if you can use those LS injectors. I know that there is an impedance matching problem with some injectors (saturated or unsaturated I think is what its called). I put some H22 injectors in my LS and they flooded the engine. You might have it the other way around.

Just for future info. To check and see if injectors or working start the car or have someone crank it over if the car will not start. Put a screwdriver on the metal part of the injector and put your ear on the handle. If the injector is working you will hear a clicking noise through the screwdriver.
