Or wait until you find the turbo mk3.

LOL.

I'm biased to a Mk2 Supra. I like the styling of them, esp. the 82-83s with their wings.

I'd get a Mk2 over a Mk3. They are hard to come by rust free though.

I shoulda never sold mine. Let me know if you need any tips on where to look for things.

I was trying to do a 5 lug so I could get the Starion wheels on mine.

My brother almost bought a white Starion this weekend out by Franklin. It was a auto though

No autos.. unless you have the money to build them. Heck, even the stocker can't hold the torque that motor can dish out.

Honestly, find another powerplant for that car

I recently got an automatic conquest. I still like my 5 speed better, but they arent bad at all. They are also quicker off the line than the 5 speed cars . Jarrod, was that starion in good shape?

Boosting off the line is always nice

There are several advantages to the stocker motor if you can decrease the stroke and maximize the rod length.. otherwise you've got a 5.64" stroke? I believe.. I might be wrong though.

I just think the 2JZ would be a nice change.. or a 4G63..

I had an N/A MK3, once i tore the motor down and changed the piston rings(they were fried) along with everything else in the motor... High compression and a few other mods... made 250ish. I lost to an M5 and a turbo Hatch that was siiiick, but i never did get to race an LS1.

Yes the conquest shares some looks with the supra, it's motor also seems to have been designed by the same guy as they will eat a gasket too... And the MK2 supra cannot be compared to a MK3 in handling.

Turbo MKIII's are fun cars, I have one (ubermagoo's actually). When you get a metal head gasket and fix ALL the bugs out you can have a 400HP 450ish lb/tq daily driver on a stock motor and it still be safe. There not great drag cars though, so if your looking for only straight line speed you might want to reconsider. I love my car but I'v spent close to 10K on mine to make it a fun and reliable car.
