They allow "faster" fire with in reason. You start tearing up the range and then they get upset.
Yea. I remember last time I was there someone was 3-shot bursting with his AK(maybe I am wrong on the 3-shot burst. He might have been tapping the trigger quickly) at 50 yards. But no one gave him any problems other than the fact that his HOT brass was hitting me from quite a distance.

Superior pawn and gun in Va Beach (Va Beach Blvd)
Superior pawn and gun in Norfolk (Little Creek Road)
A&P arms indoor in Va Beach (Lynnhaven pkwy)
A&P arms outdoor in VA Beach (Pungo area) (another note, it is hunting season so a lot of people are sighting in thier rifles etc)
Camp Allen in Norfolk (Terminal blvd but you have to be military related and you can rent AR-15s)

^ these allow all handgun calibers and none allow rapid fire

p.s. they allow rapid fire in my friends backyard thank good for knowing someone who lives out in the sticks of chesapeake

Pretty Far for yall on the southside but there is a free outdoor range in charles city it is dgif owned and on a hunting reserve they have pistol and rifle 50 100 and 200 I used to go there alot and shoot my ak and my sks no one is there full time but the game warden patrols it and i ave continuosly cleaned out my 30 round clip of 7.62 with no problem. But like I said it is quite a trip from the south side it is off of route 5 about 20 minutes from Williamsburg

For the peninsula, I like The Marksman on Industrial Pkwy. On the southside, I like A&P on Lynnhaven.

I went there yesterday. It was PACKED! Nice place though and talked a bit with a regular, learned some new things. Its a bit more expensive than Superior, but if they have something Superior doesn't, I'll head over there.

On the Penninsula there is also a gun club called Lafayette Gun Club.

http://www.4lgc.org/

You need a member to sign for you, if your military or not a dumbass I'd prolly sponsor you.
