As I recall, they couldn't split up drums because that would've required a fuel distribution permit, but that may have just been a valid-sounding excuse because it would've been a pita...

Sounds like I was wrong about Isopropyl, I searched but couldnt find much on that specifically, but I did find this:

denatured alc. (around 80% eth. and 15% meth usually) has a higher octane rating than meth.

I have read somewhere that it was 129 compared to 123 for meth or so..

You can get it at lowes for pretty cheap from what I have read

The benefit of methanol injection isn't really the octane rating. And denaturated alky is around 10 bucks a gallon I thought.

When I lived in Pennsylvania if I needed any I could just buy a few gallons at a time off of local sprint car racers.

If you know anyone that races dirt track they may be able to sell you a few gallons.

Yea I know, but it can only help.. I wish I knew the prices, but I haven't looked :\
