I've been working with a few of the above OBD2 only companies to work on a unit that would be OBD1 friendly. I am not holding my breath.

I work for Drew Tech, hopefully it's OK that I post on this topic.

On top of the two built-in analog inputs, the DashDAQ has 2 serial ports, and connects to MTS bus products made by Innovate. That means, if you want to, you can connect as many analog sensors as you want. If you have a non-OBD2 car, you would just need to pick one of these boxes, wire it in, and connect it to the DashDAQ. The DashDAQ doesn't need OBD2 data to record and log, it can take data from the analog inputs, serial ports, or USB Host ports.
