hmmm, I've been welding and learning about metallurgy for a year now, and that's news to me. Haven't had any problems with the stress-bearing stainless parts i welded with my mig. You just have to use the same grade stainless wire, and 100% argon shielding gas.

I have a MIG, TIG, and stick welder, I might be able to help you out.

whatchu done to your SER?
AEM CAI, Hotshot header, 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust with stock muffler, stillen front strut bar, ss brake lines, AD22 front brakes with crappy pads, agx kyb's not installed, and hyperco springs not installed (300 lb front, 200 lb rear, one inch drop all around). Holding off on power mods now. Trying to get enough money for a DET longblock that ill rebuild, then put that in along with a Garrett GT28, GTiR manifold, JWT S3's, fmic, msd 50 lb' injectors, custom rail, jwt ecu, and a few other goodies.
