Turbo Question.
http://www.rx7club.com/showthread.php?t=478915 - good info on picking the right size turbo for your car.
streetlamp/blah covered pretty much everything you'll need. Higher power applications will require more, but I doubt that will be necessary. Just keep in mind, you have to make sure the chasis/suspension can keep up with the new power.
fyi: that article nearly caused my head to explode.

Buy a kit.
T3/T4 is a kind of turbo housing. But when you see T3/T4 usually it means that the turbo has the T4 internals into a T3 housing for a faster spool and more CFMs.
T3 flange = T3 housing
T4 flange = T4 housing <-- noticely bigger than the T3
But this doesn't matter because it'll all be in the kit you'll buy.

But here's a general run down of what you'll need:
Manifold
Turbo
Charge pipes
Intercooler
Some sort of intake
Injectors
Blow off valve
Boost controler
Turbo timer
New exhaust from the turbo all the way back
Gauges
Clutch
And the most important thing and what you should spend your money on: engine management. If you do actually don't listen to me and decide to piece something together running a RRFPR and a shitty piggyback, I'll fucking kill you for being an idiot after your motor explodes.
And that's just the main stuff, other things like couplers and clamps will nickel and dime you to death. But you don't need to worry about it because it'll all be included in the kit you're gonna buy.
These are included in the kits.
38mm = size
Tial = brand
wastegate = wastegate

totally true... I keep looking at kits and well... shit isnt cheap. lowest Iv seen is 2500 and I could just buy a supercharger with that. damn man... Im more into the spending a few hundred here a few hundred there thing.
I mean.... you can do what you want.
But seriously, get a kit from a reputable company and you'll live your life with far less headaches than picking and choosing things from the opinions of people off the internet. I can tell that you get the jist of it all, but not enough to do it all by yourself. Understand that the whole thing works together as a complete system and if one component isn't working properly with another, it'll throw the entire system off. Decents kits were most likely put together using some sort of research, development and engineering which knocks all of your worries away. (I.e turbo too big/small, intercooler too big/small, piping too big/small, management, etc....) And as I said before, the engine management is the most important thing you buy since it controls it all. Please don't go cheap on that. Good luck.

Also if you dont know what your looking for in a turbo you might end up like the people who get screwed on ebay. I saw where a guy was selling generic turbos and saying they were perfect for small v-6 and 4 cyl. applications. They were turbos off international and Volvo diesel box and dump trucks they ranged from 1.80 exhaust a/r and up. You might see boost on a b18?
