i've never been in there, but i pass by it at least twice a day.looks reeall shady to me-kinda like a bodega gym or something
if it is your only option though,i'd go by and check it out in person.see what kind of customers they have, and the environment.
what kind of equipment are you looking to use?i also have a weird schedule, and i've pieced together the equipment i need to do my workout at home.i've definitely saved money over paying gym dues.but,i don't have a very elaborate setup, and i'm certainly missing out on the scenery

I go there or did up till about 2 months ago... with the holidays and being sick most of the month of Jan I have not been able to go. I don't know the number off the top of my head but you just need to stop by and it's on the door. You call them and they meet you there and they give you a key to the place. Most of the time the owners are never there so you just let your self in and lock the door behind you.

They have 4 treadmills, 3 bench press benches, incline Olympic bench, lots Olympic bars, standing row, setting row, Power Rack, 2 press machines, a all in one fitness machine thing that you would see in someone’s house, leg press machine, 2 roman chairs, back curl/setup chair, dead lift box/matt, butterfly machine, lat pull down and 2 smith machines and lots of dumb bells with 2 benches to use them on. There’s some other stuff but that's the stuff I use...

It's not the greatest place on earth and some of the morons there don't know how to clean up waits after themselves and just leave them laying but you can't beat it for 24hours a day, $22 a month and no contract...

New owners are taking over so the price and terms might change but I doubt it, that's the main reason people go there...

Thanks bro! That helps a LOT! I tried to call the other day after driving by but no one answered...

Wonder what kind of insurance they have if there's no one attending the place... lol. What if something happens to a patron? Sheesh.. I guess that's cool though.

That's the biggest thing for me... the fact that it's 24 hours a day! Why aren't there other gyms around here that are 24 hrs??? I heard there's going to be a Gold's going in where New Fitness was, but then I heard that's not going to happen because that area is a shit hole. I went to New Fitness, and it was kind of dumpy, but I had good rates and it wasn't too crowded most of the time.

When did you work out man? Late at night? People ever there?

My roomates are members there and they go about 3-5 times a week. They usually go after work which is around 10-11 pm. I went out there to check it out last week and it didn't seem too bad. Like srt described, if you want to lift weights in a less crowded area, this is the place for you.

I've been there at all times of the day and night. The only time it was ever busy was around 6pm at night and even then I was never stoped from doing a part of my workout. Most times there are maybe 4 people other then me and the 2 guys I work out with.
